How to Care for Oxidized Sterling Silver
Oxidized silver is a living finish. To keep the dark patina where it belongs, skip chemical silver dips, because they strip the blackened depth entirely. A soft polishing cloth on the raised surfaces is all you need to bring back contrast, and mild soapy water handles deeper cleaning.
